What's a pirate's favorite letter? R!!
These are the kinds of jokes that 6-year-old Callaghan McLaughlin has been telling in his drive-way joke stand.
The boy from Saanich, British Columbia was looking forward to start a lemonade stand, but COVID-19 had unfortunately changed his plans. However, Callaghan still wanted to do good, so he started his joke stand where people could drive-by or walk-by.
“There’s a lot of stress in the world,” said Callaghan, in a CBC interview. “I kind of want to get some smiles on people’s faces.”
A children's joke book that Callaghan bought six months ago has been the material for his jokes. Callaghan says that the joke stand is free because he wants people to save their money on more important things right now.
