Just two days after Raipur, India went into lockdown an Indian couple brought two baby twins into the world with  life changing names.

They named the baby boy Covid and the baby girl Corona, on March 27th.

"With vehicular movement stopped, we both made it to the hospital somehow late at night after a lot of suffering. Since the deliveries happened after such difficulties, we wanted the names to be memorable and unique," said Preeti Verma, the twins mother, in an interview.

Although the couple could change their children's name later Vinay Verma, the father, hopes that people understand their decision.

"Besides, these names are beautiful in their own, with Corona being Latin for crown," added Vinay Verma, in an interview. "Also, we want the fear associated with these names to end and the public to focus on sanitation and hygiene."
