Lindsay Ell celebrates her 31st birthday today (3/20) and she'll be spending it at home in quarantine.
Lindsay took to Instagram just minutes ago to share photos of her last year on her birthday and her thoughts today. She wrote, "What a difference a year can make.... last year I was over in Australia playing shows and got to celebrate my birthday in Sydney. This year will be celebrating it quarantined on my couch in my living room. But...I truly do love life’s contrast sometimes."
She adds, "And am grateful for this time in many ways - as I at this very minute am making my own birthday cake in my kitchen. .....also, will be playing a show at 6pm CT tonight on insta live. So, if you’re at home not doing anything as well, come hang."
Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s.
Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
