Title: Where there is love

Hi, my name is Heather. Almost 4 years ago I went through a tough divorce with my girls father. However, thankfully I have moved on and healed. I found the love of my life, his name is George. We have been dating for a few years now.

I used to think that when people said "I'm in love with my best friend" that they were lying or exaggerating because I never had anything close to that. I'm proud to say George is truly my best friend.

After we got together he has walked alongside me during the most difficult times in my life. I lost my mom, brother, 3 pets all while adjusting to being a single mom with a difficult ex-husband and he has handled it with such love.

He is so patient with me and my girls and the challenges that have come with the divorce and the girls healing up emotionally. Kaiya my oldest (11) has had a little bit of a tough time adjusting to the divorce and joint custody.

Recently, she has really come around and loves joking with George and is at peace in our home. RaeLynn (7) has always been happy and content with us as a family unit. Before Christmas George got the girl's blessing.

He gave me a promise ring on Christmas day with the intent of us getting married one day. I'm so sentimental so the fact that she gave it to us made it even more special.

We haven't made any plans as far an exact date, but I do know I want my girls to both see a loving normal relationship as an example. So that one day when they pick a mate they do it right the first time.

I would love to be picked so we can start our happily ever after. I also think its HILARIOUS that its on leap day. I had two coworkers that were listening today (2/12/2020) and they both came in and told me to enter so I took it as a sign. Thank you so much for taking time to read this and consider my entry.
