I Am A Working Mom

A lot of debate goes into which job title comes with the biggest sacrifice – A working mom or a stay at home mom. I’m not here to do that….

A lot of debate goes into which job title comes with the biggest sacrifice - A working mom or a stay at home mom.

I'm not here to do that. I believe being called 'Mom' in any capacity is a blessing. . . . but don't get me wrong, I know it's a STRESSFUL blessing!

I am a blessed/stressed 'working mom'. As a mom we wear a lot of hats and titles.

I am a late mom.

But I have the most blessed reason to be late. My baby was holding on to me tighter than he has ever has held on before, or one of them wanted to say "I love you more" one more time.

I am a tired mom.

But I have the most blessed reason to be tired.

I am tired because my baby woke up in the middle of the night to cuddle, wanting to be held or just wanted to be looked at by mommy.

I am frustrated mom.

But I am frustrated for the most blessed reason.

I am frustrated because I can't be in two places at once.

Half of me wants to be at work where I am strong, confident, fierce. The other half of me wants to be at home where I think nothing I do will ever be enough BUT that's the same place where singing Baby Shark 100x for one baby or watching the Tik-Tok your pre-teen just made is MORE than enough for my little people.

I know being a working mom is stressful. I know being a stay at home mom is stressful. I also know that if someone calls you 'mom' in any capacity you are truly blessed. Many people would give anything to have that title. To be late, tired, stressed or frustrated for those reasons.

I am a working mom, but God, I am so so blessed that both worlds know who I am and WHY I am.
