Where To Watch The New Year’s Eve Fireworks & How To Travel The Strip
Las Vegas’ biggest party of the year is about to start! Before you head down to the strip for all the New Year’s Eve antics, here’s what you need to know about seeing the fireworks show and how to travel the strip.

How To Travel Alongside Las Vegas Blvd.
Remember, all roads and alleys are closed that are heading westbound onto Las Vegas Boulevard between Sahara and Mandalay Bay Road from Koval Lane: Sands, Reno and Harmon avenues. So, your best bet to travel in and around the strip is using the monorail or RTC buses.
Monorail Cost: $1 (For Locals)
The Las Vegas Monorail will be operating nonstop starting at 7 am on Tuesday, Dec. 31 through Thursday, Jan. 2, at 2 am. Locals can purchase single-ride monorail tickets for $1 only from 10 am to 11 pm. They can be bought at any station except the Las Vegas Convention Center.

RTC Bus Cost: FREE
RTC is offering FREE rides on all routes on New Year’s Eve! This free offer starts on New Year’s Eve at 6 pm and ends New Year’s Day at 9 am. RTC is also including extended and 24-hour bus routes to some of their other routes.
