Also in my world.. most things are better with a good cocktail.
I used to be a bartender..so I consider myself a professional drink mixer and consumer of the drinks.
That being said I wanted to share a couple of my favorites with you, including one for the kids.
*Apple Pie* (this is my favorite)
1 ounce - Vanilla Vodka (I prefer Stoli)
1 ounce - Fire Ball
4 ounces - Apple Cider
Mix ingredients with ice or mix together and pour over ice. Your preference. If you want to get fancy, garnish it with a cinnamon stick and rim the glass with brown sugar!
*White Christmas Martini*
2 ounces - Vanilla Vodka
2 ounces - White Chocolate Liqueur
1 ounce - White Creme de Cacao
1 ounce - half and half
Shake with ice and strain into martini glass.. or if you are like me .. a solo cup ;)
*Wine*
Open bottle, pour into glass and enjoy. Repeat as necessary!
For the kids:
*Holiday Shirley Temple*
1/4 cup - OJ
3/4 cup - Sprite
2 Tbsp - Grenadine
Mix the OJ and Sprite together. Pour into glass, then drop the grenadine in let it drop to the bottom. Garnish with a cherry!
Cheers!!!
