Taylor Swift Tops ‘Forbes’ List Of The Highest Paid Women in Music
The list of the highest-paid actors and actresses was previously released by Forbes, but now they’re giving the scoop on the highest-paid female musicians. Dominating at No.1: Taylor Swift.
The singer ranked in an impressive $185 million in the past year. This is thanks to her Reputation stadium tour, her nine-figure Universal Republic Records deal, and her new album Lover.
Coming in at No.2 is Beyonce. The singer made $81 million with her Homecoming Netflix special and album, and on her and Jay-Z’s “On The Run II” tour. With $63 million earned this year, Rihanna rounds off the top three.
Forbes explains that numbers they use to determine the list come from pre-tax amounts, so fees that these singers pay for lawyers, managers, agents, etc. haven’t been deducted.
The remaining top ten earners: 10. Shakira $35 million, Celine Dion $37.5 million, Lady Gaga 39.5 million, Jennifer Lopez $43 million, Ariana Grande $48 million, P!nk $57 million, and Katy Perry $57.5.
