Dale Earnhardt Jr. took to his socials for the first time since the small plane crash last week where everyone on board escaped with no serious injury.

Dale posted to Instagram just minutes ago, "Amy and I want to thank everyone who has lifted us up with prayers, phone calls and messages since last Thursday. We are truly blessed that all on board escaped with no serious injuries including our daughter, two pilots and our dog Gus. With respect to the investigation we will not be speculating or discusing the cause of the accident. I am thankful for the quick response of our pilots, local law enforcement, emergency personal and hospital staff. Lastly, Amy and I continue to be very appreciative of the privacy extended to us to process everything. It has been important to do that together on our own time."

The private plane that carried Dale Earnhardt Jr. experienced a hard landing and bounced, which led to the Thursday (8/15)  crash.

No injuries were reported with Earnhardt Jr., his wife, daughter, two pilots and a dog on the plane.
