Jeff is a HUGE baseball fan. Combine that with his love for movies, that is this week's #TopTenTuesday!

Dennis Quaid plays Jim Morris, a high school pitcher who made his major league debut at the age of 35. He was forced to tryout after the high school team he coached won the regional championship. It's based on a true story and one of my favorites.

Based on a TRUE story of the struggling Oakland Athletics, I love the behind scenes portrayal of how the team with the lowest payroll in the league was able to succeed.

I am sucker for movies based on true stories, especially those I was not alive during. The Chicago Black Sox scandal took place in 1919, just a year or two before I was born, where it was rumored that players purposefully lost the world series in favor of money from gamblers.

This movie surrounds one of my favorite players of all time, Shoeless Joe Jackson.

We follow Roy Hobbs, the new right fielder in town. Many say this is number one on their list, it doesn't top mine however, it's one of my favorites!!

And... talk about foreshadowing, listen to the manager at the beginning.

I remember watching this movie when I was WAY too young to be watching this movie but I've always loved baseball. An incredible cast of Kevin Costner (who will come up later in this list), Susan Sarandan and Tim Robbins lead the way in this major league quality film.

I didn't add a clip simply because there is a curse word pretty much every five seconds!!

ICONIC is the best way to describe my number three favorite baseball movie! Tom Hanks plays Jimmy Dugan, the off-the-rails manager of one of the teams in the first all-female baseball league. Geena Davis, Madonna, Rosie O'Donnell and Lori Petty are the leading ladies on the team. It is set in World War II United States of America, when the men went off to fight, the all-female baseball league started!

This movie also brought us one of the MOST iconic lines ever.

I bet a lot of you thought this would be my number one, right? Oh it's up there. Is there anyone who WASN'T in love with Wendy Peffercorn? Wasn't EVERYONE scared of The Beast? Don't each and every one of us now know who The Sultan of Swat is?? Amazing movie with such great moments.

Another iconic line that will live forever, this one, thanks to The Sandlot.

This is NO DOUBT my all time favorite baseball movie. Actually, it is my favorite movie of all time.

If you haven't seen it, please just go watch it. It isn't just about baseball, it's about a father and a son.
