Garth Brooks is just thrilled about his new song “Stronger Than Me.”

“I hope that this song is a gift to other people like me who have the most special person as your best friend and spouse,” Brooks says of the single, which he debuted at the CMA Awards, with wife Trisha Yearwood seated front and center. “Getting to sing a song that you believe every syllable in…that’s a gift.”

“Stronger Than Me” will be included on Garth’s just-announced new album, FUN!, which is due this year.

Meanwhile, it was just announced that Brooks will make a pair of big appearances as part of the Country Radio Seminar’s upcoming 50th Anniversary event in Nashville. He will perform an exclusive solo show for registered attendees on February 13 and taking part in a special “town hall style” interview forum with Amazon’s VP of Music, Steve Boom, on February 14.
