“Gillette, the best a man can get!”
I remember that jingle from all of those commercials growing up, I’m sure most of you do. I never thought much of it other than what it means on the surface; “Gillette razors are the best for men’s skin.” However, with their most recent commercial, the jingle now means so much more.
One of the most talked about stories in 2018 was the #MeToo movement. With their new advertisement, Gillette has taken it by storm.
This ad is stirring up quite the controversy.
*NEW: Gillette, having spent 30yrs telling men to celebrate masculinity, now wants us to feel ashamed of it.

What a bunch of pathetic PC-crazed virtue-signalling hypocrites. https://t.co/oxerBIkI23 pic.twitter.com/2WQgQAKAAI
Gillette better be careful or it’ll suffer the same financial fate Nike did when it made rightwingers mad. pic.twitter.com/8ELvdwVDgF

If you get insulted because a razor commerical is suggesting that you not be a dick, you have some serious issues. #Gillette
