Ben Selecman, 28, was the husband of Alan's daughter, Mattie.

A reporter with WSMV says Jackson's son-in-law fell off of a dock last week while in Florida.

At the time, he was transported a nearby hospital, but sadly, he succumbed to his injuries and died on September 12.
