Oh dear. Carrie Underwood recently had a run in with the law that left her in tears.

According to the country star's twitter account, she was recently pulled over for speeding.

Interestingly, the incident marks Carrie's first time ever being pulled over.

On the bright side, the police officer didn't hand Underwood a speeding ticket, rather he let her go with just a warning.

Still, it sounds as though Carrie has learned her lesson and will be sure to abide by the speed limit in the future.

Naturally, her husband, Mike Fisher responded to her tweet and said he was proud of her.

We're assuming by the sound of his tweet, Fisher has been pulled over a couple of times in the past for speeding.
