It's no secret that Miranda Lambert has made a name for herself as a solo act in the country music community, but before her solo career, Lambert was a member of country group Pistol Annies.

Pistol Annies, comprised of Lambert, Angaleena Presley, and Ashley Monroe, took the country music world by storm with their infectious energy and rowdy nature.

Four years ago, the band announced that they were taking a break, however, they never officially announced they were splitting up.

The break was said to be due to Lambert and Monroe wanting to focus on their solo careers.

Fast forward to present day, and Pistol Annies might be back to making new music.

In a cryptic post on Instagram, Lambert shared a blank sheet of paper, and said, "I sing (and write ....and drink) in the shower." She also included the hashtags "and so it begins, along with "maybe Pistol Annies."

The keyword here is of course "maybe," but possible new music from Pistol Annies is still better than the thought of no music at all.
