The crippling power outage put a damper on Sunday travel, as passengers were either left in the dark for about 11 hours or were stuck on planes on the tarmac.
According to CNN, the cause of the outage was due to an underground fire at an electrical facility.
While passengers stuck on planes quickly became agitated, country artist John King tried to lift their spirits by singing for them.
Footage of the impromptu performance was captured and shared on social media.
In the clip, King sang "I won't back down," much to the delight of the other passengers.
King, a Georgia native, recently released his new single, "I Still Pick Up."
