Dierks Bentley took the stage at the CMA Awards this evening to honor Troy Gentry.

As you recall, Gentry died in a tragic helicopter crash in September.

Bentley started singing Montgomery Gentry's "This Is My Town," much to the delight of the crowd.

He was joined on stage by the one and only Gary LeVox from Rascal Flatts, who fittingly wore a Batman shirt.

For those who don't know, Troy loved anything and everything to do with Batman and routinely wore shirts that featured the Batman logo.

Towards the middle of the song, Eddie Montgomery made his way to the stage and joined the performance.

As pictures of Troy were displayed on the screen, the camera shifted its focus to Troy's widow -- who was in the crowd.

As tears streamed down her face, it was undoubtedly a bittersweet moment for Angie, who was accompanied at the awards show by her teenage daughter.

While the tribute was beautiful, we all still miss T-Roy dearly!
