Thomas Rhett is on the verge of another No. 1 and it just happens to be one of his favorites.

"Unforgettable" is found on Thomas' latest album Life Changes, which came out in September. "That song [is about] just telling this girl, 'Do you remember it was in October? You were wearing these shoes, you were wearing these jeans, you were drinking a mango 'rita, we were listening to a Coldplay song,'" he says through his record label. "And, 'I bet you didn't know it then, but I knew it that night.'"

In other words, it's just a touching way to say "I love you." "I just think it's a very, very sweet way to tell the person that you love how [that you] remember when [you] fell in love," he continues. "It's one of my favorite songs I've written ... I just love the cadence of that song."

Thomas is on the road as part of his Home Team Tour through early December. He'll take a break after that, firing things back up in the spring. See a complete list of tour dates here.
