Thomas Rhett Appreciates Fan Reaction To Adopted Daughter

As Thomas Rhett and wife Lauren await the birth of their first biological daughter, they continue to gush about their adopted one.

Willa Gray, who the couple adopted in May, is settling right in, according to dear old dad. "We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing child," he says through his record label. "I mean when we met Willa she was six months old ... just watching her grow up and being kinda like this shy kid, and now [she] never [meets] a stranger and will literally jump into your arms if you ask her to."

Thomas has kinds words for his fans, too. "Her personality is just explosive and it's just amazing how supportive people have been," he continues. "Just on the topic of adoption I kind of feel like it's sort of controversial in a strange way, but my fans have been the most loving people ever towards Willa and towards Lauren and towards our family."

Lauren's due date is August 8th and Thomas is coming off the road for a couple of weeks around then to prepare. The superstar is also prepping for the release of a brand new album. Life Changes drops September 8th and includes his recent No. 1 "Craving You" featuring Maren Morris as well as his new single "Unforgettable."
