There's no doubt about it: Midland's star is rising. In addition to "Drinkin' Problem" being inside the  Top 10, the trio is about to open a few concerts for Kenny Chesney. They've yet to meet the superstar, however, and they're looking forward to doing so.

"There was some talk of us going down to the island [in] Florida," Midland's Jess Carson notes in an interview with the band's record label. "We're still waiting for that confirmation [to go] down there and hang out with him."

"Any second now," adds a playful Mark Wystratch. "Jess said I haven't left the phone. We have a phone that we have at our house and we just stay there all day waiting for this because they tell us that he could call it any minute."

As the guys wait, they're prepping for opening honors in Tuscaloosa, AL; Orange Beach, AL; Uncasville, CT and a couple of shows at Gillette Stadium outside Boston. See a complete list of upcoming Midland dates here.
