You could say 88-year-old Frances Stanaway is a Luke Bryan superfan, and she made the most out of her pre-show backstage encounter with the singer. She's fighting a terminal illness, but you wouldn't know it judging by her playful manner. How playful? Take her bonafied Luke Bryan butt grab.
Luke's backside is usually off limits as he revealed during an appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden in April. "There are quite a few wandering hands," the superstar explained of the all-too-common backstage practice. "I'm sittin' there doin' the meet-and-greet, and I'm like, 'yep, she's got it.'" Luke's handlers eventually had to start discouraging fans from reaching out. "That's kind of a rule," Luke added.
The superstar made an exception for Frances, of course. The backstage meeting was set up by Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care out of Pennsylvania, which grants end-of-life wishes for patients through its Gift Of A Day program. "Her face was just [amazing]," campaign coordinator Tracy Bunch tells ABC News. "Her eyes were probably the biggest they've ever gotten at that moment ... It's also all she's been talking about the past few days."
