Luke Combs’ Novel Meet And Greet Idea Helps Charity

Meeting your favorite artist is a pretty special experience by itself, but Luke Combs is taking it to the next level.

The "Hurricane" singer began selling VIP meet-and-greet experiences on his website earlier this year with proceeds going to Camp Sunshine, a Georgia-based retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses. Fans who purchase the packages get to meet Luke, take their picture with him and enjoy a quick acoustic performance, to name a few perks.

Best of all, the novel approach is already paying off. At a recent show in Atlanta, Luke invited Camp Sunshine Executive Director Sally Hale to join him on stage where he presented the organization with a check for $22,235. "Camp Sunshine offers children fighting illnesses this awesome place to do what kids do best – be kids," he says through his publicist. "I love everything about that because all kids deserve the chance to run, play and be carefree. I'm so honored that my fans and I are able to give back and be a small part of the impactful work Camp Sunshine is doing."

The VIP packages will be available through the rest of 2017 here. Shows are set for New Hampshire, New York, Ohio and Indianapolis in the coming weeks.
