Maren Morris Is Engaged!

Maren Morris' boyfriend and fellow singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd has put a ring on it.

The "My Church" singer took to Instagram with a picture of herself sitting in Ryan's lap over the weekend with a hard-to-miss rock on her the ring finger of left hand. The caption? "Yes."

Maren and Ryan have been dating for about a year-and-a-half, spending much of that time doing what they did when they first met in 2013 – writing songs together. The first was Tim McGraw's "Last Turn Home," according to People. "We were both at different publishing companies, and our publishers' job is to fill our calendars up, so they just randomly put us together on a write one day," she told the publication. "It was the start of a wonderful writing relationship."
